The 8th National Conference on Seismology and Earthquake Engineering (SÍSMICA2010 - 20-23 October 2010) will take place in Aveiro (1 hour South of Oporto), in Portugal, co-organized by the University of Aveiro and the Portuguese Society of Earthquake Engineering.

 

The Conference will bring together architects, engineers, researchers, technicians and contractors from around the world representing several fields related to Earthquake Engineering and Seismology, such as: (1) Safety Assessment, Vulnerability and Seismic Risk; (2) Seismic and Dynamic Effects on High-Speed Rail Networks; (3) Experimental Studies; (4) Methodologies for Seismic Design, Design Codes and Standards; (5) Numerical Methods and Structural Analysis; (6) Assessment, Rehabilitation and Retrofitting of Existing Structures; (7) Engineering Seismology and Site Effects.

 

Due to your activity and interest in the field, we would like to invite you to submit a proposal of paper. Your contribution is very welcomed and we would be honoured if you could participate in SÍSMICA2010.
